WELBORNE LABS LAUREL 300B TRIODE AMPLIFIER

For your consideration, we have rare Welborne Labs Laurel 300B Stereo Triode amplifier. We obtained the unit from the original owner who was using this amp to run a pair of Lowther Acousta 115 cabinets with Lowther PM6A speakers. He mentioned that this was a factory built unit, which from a look under the hood, seems to be the case. The work is very clean, and components are top notch., including the highly coveted Magnequest FS-030 output transformers. Tubes pictured in the listing are included in the sale. They are the following: 2x JJ 300B, 2x Jan Philips 6188, 2x GE 6AG7, and a Sovtek 5AR4/GZ34 Rectifier Tube. The tubes tested well on our Amplitrex AT-1000 tube tester. The amp is in working order, and very good physical condition with no dents or dings, with just some patina on the brass finish. We are also including a copy of an article in a 1994 edition of Sound Practices Magazine which goes into detail on this amplifier, and also includes a schematic. Please see the pictures for further details. It really is a beautiful piece of gear. 

We don't have the original box for this unit, but we take packaging and shipping seriously. We spare no expense and use heavy duty boxes, several inches of polyethylene foam on all sides of the unit, and use water activated, fiber reinforced tape on all seams. All tubes will be removed, and boxed individually.
