Who We Are...
Record Mart HiFi is an offshoot of our former music store in New York City, Record Mart. Opened in 1958, Record Mart held the title of oldest running record store in the City for many years, before closing in 2020. The store was known for its extensive collection of Latin Music but carried all genres.
Having always had a passion for “Two Channel” HiFi Audio, starting Record Mart HiFi came after years of us personally accumulating higher end analog audio equipment. All the items that we sell are cleaned, tested on our bench, and then put through a final run in one of our stereo setups for a final evaluation.
Our Process...
① Clean [Almost all of our items are second hand so we carefully yet thoroughly clean them].
② Repair any technical or cosmetic faults if applicable and Test on our bench.
③ Put through a run in one of our stereo setups for Final Evaluation.
④ Pack up with extreme caution and care [We typically reuse packaging from a local partner of ours. This allows us to configure a perfect shipping container for your item so it can arrive safely while avoiding adding more waste to the planet].
