VTL ST 150 Pure Tube Amplifier Serviced

For sale, we have a beautiful VTL ST 150 Tube Amplifier. This amazing sounding amp came to us on a trade in. The amp is in perfect working order, and very good physical condition, with no dents or deep scratches. There are only small blemishes, including some scratches on the right handle, and small blemishes on the shroud. Overall the unit presents itself extremely well. 

We serviced the amplifier, as one channel was not working when we took it in.  We traced the problem to a failed resistor. We replaced the bias and output resistors on both channels. VTL provided the updated resistor wattage and values that were needed. The amp was completely gone through and then run on our bench for two days. We then ran the amp one of our house systems for four days. It performed flawlessly. 

The Svetlana 6550 power tubes, as well as the driver tubes all tested well on our Amplitrex AT1000 tube tester, and have plenty of life left on them.

We biased the amp and will box an label all tubes, so they can go back in the proper sockets. However, during shipping there could be some shift in the potentiometers, and it is recommended that the bias be checked after shipping. We will provide a copy of the owner's manual with the order. We are happy to advise on the procedure if needed. 

Included with the ST 150 is the metal shroud, (most people like to run the amp without it attached), a copy of the owner's manual, AC cord, original box and packaging. 

The amp will ship in its original box, and will be double boxed for added protection during transit. The tubes will be pulled for shipping, and may ship in the same box, or separately.  If shipped separately, two tracking numbers will be provided.
