VPI HW-16.5 Record Cleaner w/Box

For sale, we have the legendary V.P.I. HW 16.5 Record Cleaner. The unit is in excellent working order. The suction tank was so clean, and the owner said she used it two times. It was sitting on a shelf unplugged when we picked it up. The cleaner has the desirable IEC plug adaptor installed, and the heavy duty metal toggle switches that we much prefer to the newer plastic rocker switches. We have sold quite a few of these great machines over the years, so we typically service the units. Even though the unit was hardly used, it still is over 20 years old, so we did the following to the unit:

• We cleaned and serviced the motor
• Disassembled and cleaned the transmission gears, reassembled, and repacked with high quality grease.
• Installed a new waste tube
• New rubber pads under the four corners for the cover to rest on
  

Physically the unit is in very good condition with no dents or dings. There are raised "micro cracks" in the black melamine finish that can be seen in a close up picture in the listing. There are a few touch up on the back ledge on both sides. The cover is in good condition with no cracks, but it does have a large blemish in it on the back right side. With this being said, the unit presents itself very well.  Please see the many pictures in the listing for further details. 

Included in the sale are the record clamp, brush, and AC cord.

The cleaner will ship in its original box. We will double box the unit for further protection during transit.
