VPI HW-16.5 Record Cleaner

For sale, we have the legendary V.P.I. HW 16.5 Record Cleaner. The unit is in excellent working order. This cleaner has the desirable IEC plug adaptor installed, and the heavy duty metal toggle switches that we much prefer to the newer plastic rocker switches. We have sold quite a few of these great machines over the years, so we typically service the units. we did the following to this unit:

• We cleaned and serviced the motor
• Disassembled and cleaned the transmission gears, reassembled, and repacked with grease
• Installed a new waste tube

Physically the unit is in very good condition with no dents or dings. The cover is in good condition with no cracks, but it does have some swirl marks, which is typical.  Please see the pictures in the listing for further details. 

Included in the sale are the record clamp, brush, and AC cord, 

We don't have the original box for this unit, but we take packaging and shipping seriously. We spare no expense and use heavy duty boxes, several inches of polyethylene foam on all sides of the unit, and use water activated, fiber reinforced tape on all seams.
