This Nakamichi BX-300 Cassette deck is in excellent working order. Cosmetically it is in very good condition with some light scratches and blemishes. Overall the unit presents itself very well.
We went through this deck very thoroughly., and cleaned and detailed it inside and out. Further we did the following:
The belts were changed, the capstans were cleaned and lubed, gears were cleaned and lubed, Heads were cleaned and demagnetized, the pinch rollers was cleaned and reconditioned. All pots, switches, and slides were cleaned and treated with Deoxit. Finally, the tape speed was checked and adjusted to spec.
Of note, on these BX-300 cassette decks there were two types of idler wheels. Initially Nakamichi used an idler tire type wheel. This one uses the later version of an idler gear. So, on this unit we just serviced the gear as there is no idler tire to change out.
Shipping is included to the lower 48 United States
We don't have the original box for this unit, but we take packaging and shipping seriously. We spare no expense and use heavy duty boxes, polystyrene, and or instapak when boxing up our gear for shipping.
