Mark Levinson 331 Dual Monaural Amplifier Recapped and Serviced
For sale, we have the well regarded Mark Levinson 331 Dual Monaural Amplifier. We just took in two of these amazing amps from the same owner. The unit has been serviced, and is in perfect working condition. This series of Levinson amps are some of our favorites, with their large heat sinks, these units were engineered and designed extremely well. We are familiar with this amp, as we use one in our house system as our reference. On the back of the amp, there are two sets superb speaker terminals on each side. They can be easily hand tightened for a very snug fit. The 331 is fitted with both high quality unbalanced gold RCA terminals, and fully balanced XLR terminal.
The 331 came to us in working order. Due to age, and for preventative maintenance, we recapped the amp, and set the bias to factory specs. We also removed and replaced the sound deadening rubber strip down the center of the amp under the top cover. It fails over time and turns into a sticky tar. After servicing, and bench testing, we ran the amp for 8 to 10 hours a day for five days in our house system. It performed perfectly.
Physically the amp is in very good condition. There are some blemishes, and small scratches, however there are no dents, or signs the the unit was ever dropped or mishandled. It presents itself very well, and will provide many more years of enjoyment. Please see the pictures in the listing for further details.

The amp is very heavy at 112 pounds without packaging, and will need to be shipped via freight to ensure it arrives to its new owner safely. The amp is also available for local pickup.
