Marantz Model 1060 Integrated Amplifier

For sale, we have a fine example of the Marantz Model 1060 Integrated amplifier. The amp is in perfect working order, and physically it is in very good condition, with only minor blemishes. It's an excellent sounding amp, that also has a very nice phono section. Please see the many pictures for further details.

When we received the unit, it was working but needed servicing. We cleaned and treated all the controls and switches, and diagnosed and repaired issues in the right channel on the amplifier board. We replaced the capacitors as needed on both channels and set the bias to factory specifications. 

After the servicing, the unit was checked out on our bench where it performed as it should. We then hooked the unit up to our Sencore PA81 Stereo Stereo Power Amplifier Analyzer acting as a dummy load and hooked to an Oscilloscope as the interface. Using an audio generator, we ran a 1k signal through the amps input, slowly increasing the amplitude while monitoring the output on our oscilloscope for signs of noise, clipping, distortion, or improper channel balance. Both channels tested clean on the scope.  The amp is conservatively rated at 30 watts per channel, and it produced a clean signal at over 30 watts per channel.

We don't have the original box for this unit, but we take packaging and shipping seriously. We spare no expense and use heavy duty boxes, several inches of polyethylene foam on all sides of the unit, and use water activated, fiber reinforced tape on all seams.
