For your consideration, we have a rare, vintage Kenwood Trio Model L-07C Preamplifier. The unit was checked, cleaned, and serviced on our bench and it is perfect working order. All switches and pots were cleaned and then treated with Deoxit D5 and F5 respectively. Cosmetically the L-07C is in very good condition. The faceplate only shows minor blemishes, if any. The top shroud has a 1" scratch on the rear center of it, as well as multiple chips in the finish on the perforated areas of the shroud. These can be seen in the pictures. With that being said, the unit presents itself extremely well and is a gorgeous piece. When we got the unit, the power switch lever was broken. We repaired in using parts from another vintage unit and found a similar switch cover. It looks pretty close to the original, and we were very pleased with the results. We fell in love with this preamp and have been using it daily in one of our house systems along with the matching Model L-07M monoblock amplifiers (as seen in the second picture in this listing) that we also have listed separately. All inputs were tested, including both phono sections which sounded excellent.
Shipping is included to the lower 48 in the purchase price. The preamp will be shipped in an oversized heavy duty box, with several inches of polystyrene foam on all sides of the unit. Great care will be put into packing the L-07C. We put a lot of work into these vintage units, and we are passionate about the gear that we sell. We do all that we can to make sure that they ship safely to their new owner.
