    GW Labs Cyclops

    Regular price $1,400.00

Here we have an ultra rare GW Labs Cyclops all tube Integrated amp with its very cool "green eye" tube on the front faceplate that serves as an output indicator. We really enjoyed having it on our workbench. Matched with the right efficient speakers this Made in the USA amp sounds terrific. It can also be used as a headphone amp. On our bench and in our test setup the amp performed perfectly. Tube rolling is easy as the amp is self biasing. It has serial number 10, but it looks as there are very low hours on the unit. The previous owner said he bought it and never used it. Physically the amp is in very good shape, with some scuffs and light scratches that don't really stand out. The unit  presents itself very well. The chrome finish on the original plastic paddles for the power and source switches were failing so we replaced both with aluminum rod stock which we think match the faceplate better than the originals.

The following is from GW Labs when the unit was originally released:

The Cyclops is a dual line-level input, vertical chassis 12wpc vacuum tube unit. It uses dual power transformers, custom low loss multi-section output transformers, zero global feedback design, a self-biasing Ultralinear push-pull output stage and a vacuum "eye" tube output indicator. The tube complement consists of two 12AU7, four EL-84 and one 6AL7GT. The Cyclops measures 3.93" x 13.78" x 9.96" (WxDxH) and weighs 18 lbs.
