Grado HP1000 HP1 Signature Headphones

For your consideration, we have an extremely rare pair of the Joseph Grado HP1000 HP1 Signature headphones. If you are reading this, you most likely know the history of these headphones. Considered to be Grado's flagship headphones, this pair comes from its original owner. Purchased along with a Melos SH-1 Headphone amp/Line Preamp, the owner used them a couple of times, and then put them in his closet, including the Melos SH-1. They are in mint condition, with only minor blemishes, (we could not find any, but just to be safe) if any. ALL the lettering is fully intact, including around the Polarity switches, which is normally not the case as it wears off easily with use. The only blemishes that we could find are on the 1/4" jack. There are some light marks that we could only see on close up photos. We updated the listing with some close up pictures of the jack. The headphones are in perfect working order, including the polarity switches. New Grado F-Cush pads were installed. The F-Cush pads are what came originally on these, and we prefer them, but we are also including a pair of new Grado L-Cush pads as well. 

The HP1's come with their original box which has some wear, but is intact. The inner foam has deteriorated over time, so we encased it in plastic, so we are still able to ship the headphones in the original box. Also included is the original paperwork, and some reviews and articles that the original owner put together prior to purchasing the headphones. 

The headphones will be double boxed for safe shipping.
