Conrad Johnson MV60SE Tube Amplifier

For sale, we have the beautiful looking, and sounding Conrad Johnson MV60SE Tube Amplifier. The MV60 Special Edition is fitted with 6550 power tubes, rather than the EL34's that are in the MV60. We are huge fans of vintage Conrad Johnson gear, and this amp is one of our favorites. The unit comes from the original owner who swapped out all the original tubes when he purchased the amp new, so upon acquiring the amp, we installed the original Svetlana Winged C 6550's. All tested extremely strong on our Amplitrex tube tester. Also included are the original Russian 6SN7's.  The original 12AX7's were used elsewhere by the original owner, so he installed a pair of Groove Tube GT12AX7's that are pictured in the listing. While they sounded fine, they did not test well enough for our liking, so we installed a brand new pair of JJ E83CC's (12AX7), which we find to be great sounding tubes. 

The amp is in minty condition, with only a few light blemishes, but good luck finding them as the unit is nearly flawless. See the many pictures in the listing for further details.

Included with the amp is the original owners manual, brochure, bias tool, extra fuses, AC cord, and a 3/16" allen key (not pictured) that is needed to remove the two top bolts on the faceplate to release the cage. You will need to supply a narrow flat head screwdriver to loosen the four captured screws that also hold the cage down. 

The amp will ship fully insured in its original box with original packing. We will double box the unit in order to protect the original carton, and for further protection during shipping. A signature will be required upon delivery.
