Bowers & Wilkins B&W Matrix 801 Series 2 Speakers & Sound Anchor Stands

For sale is a one owner pair of the legendary B&W Matrix 801 Series 2 Speakers in walnut. These beautiful speakers are some of our favorites. These have been in our listening area for over a year now. They are all around great speakers that you can enjoy all day without any fatigue. The more power you give them, the better they seem to sound. These were paired with a Krell KSA-200S that we also acquired them, and we kept them together in our shop for over a year. We just sold the amp, so we decided it was time to list the speakers. They are in perfect working order. 

The original owner kept all documentation, and accessories. Unfortunately, he didn't have room for the boxes. Included with the 801's are the following:

Factory items:

• Matrix 801 High-Pass Alignment Filter. (This was unused as the owner purchased an aftermarket filter)
• 8 original, factory unused floor spikes
• Original grill brush for cleaning the grills
• Owner's manual
• Other paperwork.  

Aftermarket items:

• Sound Anchor Stands
• 6 unused Spikes for Sound Anchor Stands
• 6 Heavy, Sound Anchor Discs/Floor protectors, still sealed.
• Allen keys for stands
• Instructions, and literature for Sound Anchor stands.

Physically the speakers are in excellent condition, considering their age. All the drivers are intact and in great shape. There are a few blemishes here and there on the cabinets, however there are no dents or deep scratches. The grills are all in very good shape, with one "pull' mark on one corner of one of the top grills. There is a small "lift/chip" in the veneer on one speaker, that we should be able to repair. We will update the listing once the repair is done. The Sound Anchor stands are in excellent condition as well, and they are a great addition to the speakers. We don't have the boxes for the speakers, so we are offering these for local pickup. A van or preferably a truck will be needed to transport the speakers safely. We will also palletize and ship the units via insured freight for an additional $750.00.
