For sale, we have a superb sounding Audio Note AN-CD3 CD player. This unit has an 18 bit D/A converter, tubed output stage, and originally sold new for $2,500.00. We obtained this unit with a few other items that were in the basement of a house in New York. The player had not been used in many years, and was not functioning. It turned out that all that was needed was an new tray belt, and the unit was up and running. We also oiled the motor bearings for good measure. The unit is functioning perfectly now. The CD player features RCA analog outputs, and a Digital output. Both were tested and in working order.
Physically the top shroud of the unit was damaged with some scratches and rust spots, so we restored it by stripping it down to metal, and spraying it black. While the top, and a few spots on the back of the unit had some damage, the inside was in perfect condition with no signs of wear. The faceplate is in good condition, with some marks on the top edge and some light blemishes on the front. We used silver hex trim screws on the top shroud which we think look very nice. Upon request, we can change out to black screws if preferred.

The AN-CD3 comes with a power cord only. The remote control, is NOT included.
We don't have the original box for this unit, but we take packaging and shipping seriously. We spare no expense and use heavy duty boxes, several inches of polyethylene foam on all sides of the unit, and use water activated, fiber reinforced tape on all seams.
