For sale we have an Antique Sound Lab AQ-1003DT Integrated Tube Amplifier. We acquired the unit in a collection from an audio enthusiast that passed away. The unit is in very good working order, and it is a great sounding modest amplifier. The four Svetlana EL34 tubes tested strong on our Amplitrex AT1000 tube tester, as well as the four Baldwin 12AU7's. In doing some research, we found that most of the AQ-1003DT's had the bias meter built into the top panel. This unit has the test points on the right side, so you need a basic multimeter to set the bias. It's a simple process to do.
The amplifier is very heavy for its size, due to the massive transformers. This is a very collectable amp and is highly regarded. We found the amp to be warm, non fatiguing, and just a wonderful unit.
We don't have the original box for this unit, but we take packaging and shipping seriously. We spare no expense and use heavy duty boxes, several inches of polyethylene foam on all sides of the unit, and use water activated, fiber reinforced tape on all seams.
