For your consideration we have a beautiful example of a Marantz Model 2240B Stereophonic Receiver. Physically the unit is in very good to excellent condition, with only minor blemishes on the shroud, and no noticeable markings on the faceplate. Considering the age of the unit, it's in great shape. The unit has been thoroughly gone over on our bench. The filter capacitors were replaced, and the power supply was recapped using moder nichicon capacitors All line level inputs have been tested and are all in good working condition. The phono section sounds very nice and is good working order. A full AM and FM tuner alignment including adjusting the Dolby section was also performed on the receiver, using our Senco SG80 AM/FM Stereo analyzer. The DC offset and Bias have been set to factory spec. All bulbs have been converted to LED including the tuner pointer. New vellum was installed behind the tuning plate. All the pots and switches have been cleaned with DeoxIt F5 and D5 respectively. Just a gorgeous looking, great sounding receiver that is ready for its next owner. We don't have the original box for this unit, but we take packaging and shipping seriously. We spare no expense and use heavy duty boxes, polyethylene, and or instapak when boxing up our gear for shipping.
