For sale, we have a fully serviced, classic P2/Planar 2 turntable. The table comes with the early RB250 tonearm that has the desirable bias/anti-skate adjustment on it. It comes with a Rega Green Bias cartridge that is in good condition. We also offer the full line of Grado cartridges should you wish to upgrade. Physically the unit is in very good condition with some minor blemishes. The smoked dust cover has a small crack at one of the hinge holes. We repaired it and installed new hinges while we were at it. Servicing the table included the following:
- Oiled the motor
- Ball bearing removed and cleaned, bearing cleaned, and oiled with Castrol 80/90W Hypoid gear oil
- inner platter rim and pulley grooves cleaned.
- Belt cleaned and treated with Talcum powder.
- Table cleaned and detailed.
While we don't have the original box, we know how to pack our gear. The platters will be removed and wrapped, the bearing will be plugged and the table and dust cover will be packed carefully.
