The unit is in perfect working order, and sounds excellent. An extremely well made and well designed amp, it's the first one to come through our shop. With its stacked, beefy toroidal transformers, and separate amp modules, the amp is well laid out. In doing research, I discovered (which many probably already know) that the amp was designed by Dan D'Agostino. While the unit was in working order when it came in, we still thoroughly went through it on our bench.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eWe cleaned the amp inside and out\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eCarefully inspected the amp for any signs of heat stressed resistors or swollen caps. There were none.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eSet the bias to factory spec\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eSet the DC offset \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eTested clean at over 200 watts per channel at 8 ohms on our Sencore PA81\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAfter putting it through its paces on our bench, we ran the amp in one of our house systems, and we really enjoyed it. No wonder this amp is well regarded.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePhysically the amp is in very good condition. There are some blemishes that can be seen in the pictures. However, there are no dents or dings, and the unit was well cared for.
